A Week in the Life of a Young Homesteader (Day 1)

 

Tuesday: July 2nd, 2019

6:50 – Wake up late and hurry to get ready for the day.

7:00 – Feed the inside cats that had been nice enough NOT to wake me up this morning.

7:03 – Work on my blog.  Post ‘Day 1’ of  ‘A week in the Life of a Young Homesteader’.  Edit other posts.

8:17 – Take a break to feed the outside cats and check on the gardens.

8:30 – Come back in the living room and continue to work on blog stuff.

8:50 – Get some cupcakes for breakfast.  (What?!  The firefighters can’t have ALL of the cupcakes!)

8:56 – Start looking up 4th of July cupcake ideas on Pinterest..

9:26 – Start daydreaming about nap time because I’m still, so, tired..!

9:30 – Fall asleep without knowing it.

10:30 – Wake up and realize I fell asleep..  Start working on blog stuff again.

12:10 – Lunch time!

12:30 – Back to work updating old blog posts.

1:00 – Take a nap.

2:00 – Start on decorating the cupcakes I made yesterday.

4:00 – Finished decorating the cupcakes I made yesterday.  Now to wait for my boyfriend to get off work so that we can take them to the fire station.  I went out to stir the compost and check the gardens while I waited..

5:00 – Get some driving time in with my boyfriend while delivering the cupcakes I baked to the fire station.  I still need a LOT of driving practice before I go in to take the test to get my license (see; Getting my drivers permit..).  Thankfully, my boyfriend is brave enough to take me out driving so that I can get some practice in, so we drove around for a bit.

6:00 – Returned home, took a shower, and got some dinner.

10:00 – About ready for bed.  I’ve been crocheting a market bag while watching Netflix for the past few hours or so (more watching than crocheting).  I’ve also been yelling at my computer as well (and myself for that matter).  I take full responsibility on the fact that I shouldn’t have been messing around with my computer.  It was acting slow, so when I decided to clean out the search history to speed it up a bit, I decided to also clean out the cookies as well. (BAD idea!) It made it so that I had to sign into everything again, and unfortunately for me, WordPress on my computer wasn’t being so kind and didn’t do anything when I put in my account info..  Literally!  It just sat there!  Maybe I’ll have better luck tomorrow after a long nights sleep.  I’m so annoyed with my computer right now.  So with that, I’m going to bed..!

(Update, I had somehow managed to disable my cookies on my computer..  All fixed and WordPress is working like normal again.  Won’t do THAT again..)
