10 movies to get you in the Fall mood!

It’s finally October!  And you know what that means?  The TV and internet are filled with Halloween and Fall themed movies!  Here is my list of some of my favorite movies to get you in the Fall mood and get you ready for whatever holiday you’re celebrating this Fall!
(Disclaimer:  I am not in any way promoting any of these movies!  This is just my honest opinion on good movies to get you into the Fall mood!)

#1. It’s The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.

This is a family favorite in my household and we make sure we watch it every year without fail!  This classic never gets boring, and gets everyone in the mood for Halloween!

#2. A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.

You can never go wrong with Charlie Brown movies.  They always seem to get you into the mood of whatever movie you’re watching.  Get ready to miss your family and hug your friends as this movie reminds you what’s really important about Thanksgiving.

#3. The House With A Clock In It’s Walls.

This is a bit of a newer one, but still a great family movie to watch if you’re in the mood for something creepy to get you into the Halloween Spirit!  My grandmother and I loved watching this last year!  And who can resist any movie with Jack Black in it?!

#4. Hocus Pocus.

How can you not love a movie about three witches who try to suck the soles out of children to stay young?  This movie is sure to get you into the Halloween spirit!  Witches, zombies, black cats, this movie has it all..!

#6. Beetlejuice.

‘Shake shake shake senora, shake your body line, shake shake shake senora, shake it all the time!  Man, I LOVE the songs in Beetlejuice!  It’s a MUST on your watch list to get you feeling in the Fall mood and all things creepy!  Just remember, don’t say (or think) ‘Beetlejuice’ three times..  Oops, too late..!

#7. Halloween Town.

There is just something about watching a movie where all of the supernatural ‘creatures’ can live in a world in peace and harmony to get you into the Fall mood!  Halloween town has always reminded me of my family (especially the grandmother), and I love watching all of the ghosts, witches, skeletons, ghouls, and goblins run around town!

#8. The Little Vampire.

This was my all time favorite movie as a kid!  If you love cute little vampire movies, where the kids do everything and the parents are oblivious to everything, then this one is for you!

#9. Haunted Mansion.

This is a great movie to watch with your kids this October.  Sure, the zombies will give them nightmares (it did for me when I was a kid), and they may be claiming to see ghosts everywhere they go (don’t let that creep you out ‘too’ much), but they’ll love laughing at this movie (for five minutes, and being terrified for the rest)!

#10. Hotel Transylvania.

This one has the same concept of ‘Halloween Town’.  Monsters live in harmony with each other, all monsters get along, yada yada.  Only, in this movie, they are scared of humans!  This is a great movie to watch with the little ones!  (Or by yourself, secretly in your room, because you secretly love cartoons like I do..)

(Bonus Movie!) The Good Witch.

The Good Witch movies are a GREAT way to get into the Fall mood!  Weather it be the movies, or the TV show, The Good Witch is full of Fall fun for everyone!
