What I’ve been working on:

It has been a productive month as we dive right into the new year with a productive spirit! So far, I’ve spent almost every day in my cabin crocheting like a mad granny who just got told she’s going to have five grandkids this year and everyone wants baby clothes! I am up to my neck in pink flowers, hearts, jellyfish, and fairy bags! I’ve seen more pink in the last two weeks than I have in my entire life! (And Pink is my least favorite color!)

These jellyfish are the things I have been working on most recently, as I needed a break from all of the flowers.. I had made some of these for the Bluegill Frolic last year and they sold out quickly. I had had a few people at the Christmas markets asking me if I had ever thought to make some jellyfish to sell, and I responded with the fact that I had made some before but that they sell out quickly. I don’t know what’s so fascinating about these little things is, but I must admit that they are truly adorable and in high demand!

Next, we have the flowers! Oh my goodness do I have flowers!!! These flower doilies are so easy and fun to make, but they get tiresome after a while so I have to switch back and forth between these and other things. Half of these are for the local store ‘Elements‘ which I am going to be ‘Artist of the Month‘ at next month. Don’t worry though, I made sure to make plenty of extra to sell at farmers markets this spring/summer!

Next up, we have my little ‘Love Bombs’ that I had also made to sell at ‘Elements‘ as well. These adorable little things were made after the cartoon bombs I had made and sold at the summer craft fairs. I thought that these would be a cuter version of them for Valentine’s Day.

And finally, I have made a few ‘Fairy Bags’ for ‘Elements‘ as well, as it goes with the whimsical theme of the shop. ❤ I had made one of these a few years back when I was playing around with some yarn. Of course, these look MUCH cuter than my first one, but I thought I would try my hand at these again. They look so adorable!

So yeah, that’s what I’ve been working on this month. It’s just been me, my computer, and a whole lot of yarn! My fingers are tired, and my legs are starting to feel the effect of sitting in a chair all day every day, but look at all that I’ve created!

As always, smile, have an amazing day, and remember to put in the work for your future today, so that your future self tomorrow can thank you! 😉
