With yet MORE snow coming in, we have hunkered down in our little shelters and found something to do to pass the time as we wait for this snowstorm to blow over.
We are currently under a ‘Winter Weather Advisory‘ and we are predicted to get 8-10 inches of snow by tomorrow. Of course, the weatherman likes to often say this to scare everybody into buying up all of the bread and milk from our local stores, so we will have to wait and see if we truly get that much snow. So far, we have gotten about three inches of snow and it’s still coming down outside!

Meanwhile, as I sit in my cabin and wait to be snowed in, I am playing around with the yarn I had picked up yesterday! I was in desperate need of Spring and Summer colored yarn, so my mother and I went to the store yesterday to pick up some new yarn (among other stuff) so that I could crochet more jellyfish/flowers/etc.

This morning I am making some cute jellyfish with the multicolored yarn, and I plan to crochet a few more flowers for the Summer Markets with my pretty new colors! ❤ I probably spent way too much on yarn yesterday, but I am reminding myself that I am starting a business and that I truly needed new colors for my crafts.
Well, I better get back to crocheting before my blog distracts me for another hour… I am currently curled up in my chair with yarn and a crochet hook, and I don’t intend to go anywhere anytime soon! (Especially not in this weather!)
As always my lovely readers, smile, have an amazing day, and curl up next to the heater with a fun project! ❤
This looks SO cozy!! I’m glad you have so many things to keep you warm and entertained. Stay safe!

Thank you 🙂 If it wasn’t for my crocheting, winter would be a very boring time for me indeed!

I am absolutely terrible at crocheting which is funny because some people say that it’s easier than knitting but for some reason I just can’t wrap my brain around it 😅🤷♀️

I’m the same way with knitting! I can crochet anything, but I cannot knit to save my life! 😂 Most people who can do one can’t do the other, which I find so interesting!

I had no idea! You have no idea what a relief it is that I am not the only one who can only do one LOL!!

I do quite a few craft fairs where I talk to different people about that, and I have yet to hear someone say that they can do both crocheting and knitting! It’s always funny to hear people say that they could ‘never’ do what I do, and yet they could knit a house if they wanted to! 😂

Too funny! My grandmother does both! She taught me how to knit 🧶 🥰 and she tried to teach me how to crochet but I just couldn’t do it!

Oh my goodness it’s official! I have finally head of someone who does both! 😀 That’s amazing! My grandmother and mother both crochet and they had taught me the basics. The rest I taught myself through trial and error. 😅 I love how yarn brings people together, no matter how you make things!
