The leaves start to change,
Red, gold, and brown.
The wind’s picking up,
The leaves blow around.

Pumpkins all ripen,
As kids carve them up.
Creepy faces are added,
Eyes and smiles are cut.

Gardens give us bounties,
Beyond our wildest dreams.
Fruit and veggies everywhere,
Much more than it seems.

The weather starts to shift,
As the Autumn breeze strolls through.
Wrap your scarf around your neck,
And tie up your warm shoes.

Time to get the house ready,
For the winter storms to come.
Stack the wood, clean the house,
The air is turning numb.

Can you smell the Autumn air,
Going straight into your nose?
Can you feel the Autumn breeze,
Chilling through your clothes?
Winter air is coming,
But Autumn is here first.
Enjoy the season while you can,
What’s coming next is worse..
