Today was a nice cold rainy day, which was prefect for making holiday goodies for the upcoming autumn holidays.

Most of the cookies were made yesterday, with another batch added today for good measure. All the cookies were frosted this morning by me and my fiancé (he added the pumpkin faces). These cookies you see here are from an old recipe from my great great grandmother. The only change I made was to the last batch; where I put pumpkin spice extract instead of vanilla in the cookies and frosting, and boy was it a good!

Half of these cookies will be sent over to family the next few days, the other half will be brought to work closer to All-Hallows-Eve as a fun little treat for me and my coworkers.
