As Halloween comes to a close, we either start preparing for Thanksgiving, or we rush to get Christmas out way too early as Christmas movies play softly in the background. (I’ll admit that I am the second one, but my fiancé is one of those crazy people who won’t let me put Christmas up until AFTER Thanksgiving!!!)
Before I start bombarding the internet with Christmas posts, however, I thought I would take a moment to post about how beautiful the leaves were last week! The leaves are sadly all down now, as a snowstorm on Halloween made sure the last of the leaves (even the green ones) were down off the trees for the year. I no longer have a magical fall view on my way to (and from) work in the morning, but at least I enjoyed the view while it was here. 🍂🍁🍂

The trees are bare now, and the roads are littered with so many leaves that you can’t see the potholes on the road. Winter is coming. I can feel it in the air when I wake up in the morning to twenty-degree temperatures. And when the occasional flurries pop up out of nowhere to ‘brighten’ our days with snow. 😒❄️
Soon these colorful pictures of Autumn will be replaced with candy canes and winter wonderland pictures. Until then, remember to smile, have an amazing day, and remember that this is the month of thankfulness. So start thinking about what you’re thankful for!
