It’s that time of year again! June 5th will be the first farmers market of the season for me! Although I still have a full-time job and work five days a week, I still really want to make time for craft fairs this year.
So, I picked ONE craft fair in a nearby town, to do once a week, and I can’t wait to put up my tent! I have branched out from crocheting this year (although I still intend on crocheting a few things) and I’ve made my way over to wood burning as an attempted hobby. So far it’s been really fun and interesting to make wood burned signs!

I have been having so much fun creating these signs, and I have loved putting some of my doodles on the signs! It has been so much fun exploring Pinterest for cute sayings, and then finding some drawings to add alongside them.

Not only have I been busy with making signs, but I have also been making coasters! Everything still needs stained with wood stain of course, but how cute are some of these coasters below?!
If you couldn’t already tell, I am going for a geeky book nerd theme with lots of book related content in my signs, coasters, bookmarks, etc..

Speaking of geeky signs! I found these cute wooden signs at a local store and couldn’t resist making something out of them! My mind immediately went to storybook places, so I made some signs for some of my favorite book series!

To further go with my ‘book nerd theme’… I’ve also been having so much fun doodling some cute bookmarks!

And finally, I’ve been experimenting with perfumes as well this year! This is something I’ve always wanted to do, as I LOVE essential oils and the different smells you can make when you play around with them. I’m particularly fond of a scent that is called ‘Old Library’! (Ignore the smudged ink on most of them, this was my first experimental try with the perfumes in these bottles.)

So yeah, that’s what I’ve got planned for the markets this year! I’m loving my theme, I’m loving the new projects, and I must say, I’m loving that I’ll be going back to the markets this year! ❤
As always, smile, have an amazing day, and go get crafty! 🧶🎨🧵🔩🪚🕯️📜🖍️✂️
