Well, this week has been a long one folks, but we survived it!

We started the week off with my birthday, (something I honestly dread) but I ended up working that day, so it flew by fast. We didn’t do much on my actual birthday, but hubby took me thrift shopping, to the mall, and out to eat a few days later, which was an amazing date day. ❤

I spent the rest of the week gathering tools (and getting some for my birthday) to plant all of the bushes and flowers I’ve been gathering for around the property. I am happy to say I got to plant a few more bushes today, but the roses will still have to wait until next weekend.

Overall, this week has been a big one for progress on our new little homestead, as we are planting the seeds for our future in the rich soil all around us. We still have a few projects in the works that won’t be done until next week, but for now, we have gotten a lot done!
