100th Blog Post!!! (And A Blogmas Announcement!)

Today, I am posting my 100th Blog Post for
Farm Girl Homesteading!

I’m an so honored to be able to celebrate my 100th Blog Post with y’all!  In honor of my 100th Blog Post, I’m going to be taking a look back at some of my favorite posts I’ve done in the past year and a half!

This December, I am also planning on participating in ‘Merry Blogmas!‘  Where I will be posting (or at least attempting to post) a blog post every day until Christmas!  Follow me on my blog or my Facebook to keep up with Blogmas, and never miss a day as we count down the days left until Christmas!

I still can’t believe I’ve been blogging for the past year and a half!  Time really does fly by, doesn’t it?  I’ve got some posts that I’m proud of, and some that make me cringe.  But let’s focus on the ones I’m proud of!

I love my blog so much, mainly because of all the people I’ve met and worked with because of it.  I hope to continue to write for many years to come, and I hope that I can continue to inspire others and connect with others with my blog.  It’s funny how a simple blog about being a young homesteader/gardener, turned into such an amazing and fun experience!

Thank you to all of those who like, comment, and fallow me, and those whom I’m subscribed to as well.  You all inspire me so much to keep doing what I’m doing.  ❤  Not a day goes by that I ever want to quit blogging my journey.

Please don’t forget to Like, Comment, Follow me so that you can see my ‘Merry Blogmas‘ Posts and countdown this December!

      • Aw! Thanks SO much, Deanna! So HAPPY we’ve connected. I’m always praying for you too. I shall catch up on yesterdays’ Blogmas Post before the day ends. For now, off to walk it out for forty minutes and then come back in to work on a much-needed blog update. November kept me away from my blog. No thanks to NaNoWrimo lol! But I shall return with tons of new ideas, content, an email subscriber list, sign-ups for monthly newsletters, an official domain and hosting plan too. (Within the next few months) Whew! Talk to ya soon! And may this day be wonderful for you!

      • Wow, sounds like you’re really establishing a nice foundation for your blog! That’s so great to hear! I’m slowly working up to getting my own domain name, but It’s going to take a while for me. I can’t wait to read the update on your blog and see how the teeth straightening process is going! I hope you have an amazing and blessed day as well! 🙂

      • Its’ gonna take a lot of effort and time. Money too. But it’ll be worth it. From now on, I’ll be busy with finishing my first draft of Flow while recreating my first book. And staying present with my blog.

I LOVE everything about your blog, and your name is a perfect fit! The logo is SO cute and SO you! Just posted my blog update and will read your posts tomorrow. I have two to catch up on. Your Blogmas is like doing NaNo: you try your best to show up every day with new content. You totally ROCK the blogging, by the way. How’s your Etsy shop going?

      • Lol, I hope that some of your enthusiasm rubs off on me today. 🙂 Thank you so much! I can’t wait to go read your blog post!

My Etsy shop has yet to sell anything, but I’m not complaining, a lot of people are still looking at the stuff, which is great! Wishing you luck on your plan for your blog! I’m sure everything will work out exactly to your planning!

      • Good morning. Sending you some of my enthusiasm right now. Let me know when you receive it. LOL! 🙂 I HOPE you start selling some merchandise soon. Still wanting to purchase the unicorn beanie/hat for my friend. Did you add any new merchandise?

      • Lol, I’m starting to feel more enthusiastic already, thanks! 😉 I plan to do some advertising soon for my Etsy shop for the holiday season, I’m hoping to get more action with it after that. I added a few more things to my shop, but I’m afraid I haven’t had as much time as I thought to add new things.. Hopefully once college finals are done I’ll have some more time for all of that. 🙂

      • That’s awesome! Yeah, I noticed the new merchandise in your shop this morning. So cool you have Harry Potter items. My oldest son (who just turned 25) loves all things Harry Potter. You should make a HP beani so I can get it for him. 🙂 Also, I sent my friend the pics of your unicorn hats, asking what she thinks of them. Pretty sure she’ll suspect something. LOL! But how am I supposed to know if she likes them without sort of asking? Wanna gift a hat to her for Christmas along with celebrating her debut that released yesterday. I’ll keep in touch with you about your wonderful creations for future purchases. Hopefully this month!

      • Lol, what a ‘not so sneaky’ way to ask her! Truth be told though, I did the same thing though when I asked my friends if they liked peanut butter fudge. 😛 How else am I supposed to know what to bake my friends for the holidays? Lol, I’m glad you like my harry potter themed stuff on there, it’s really fun to crochet stuff like that and try to come up with a way to make them (I can’t for the life of me follow a pattern). Can’t wait to add more to the shop soon!
