Wedding Planning (Part 4)

~

The end is nigh!

It is less than a month until we get married and celebrate with loved ones, and all of our tiny little details are now getting ironed out!

The flower crowns finally came in, so we now have those for our wedding guests. They still need fluffed up a bit, as the flowers were a bit squashed from shipping. We thought it would be a fun treat to give all of the girl’s flower crowns and it would look super cute for pictures!

The horned cups we ordered also just came in. These are for the Bride (me), Groom, and the two Best Men! With this being a Viking/Celtic/Renaissance wedding, we OF COURSE needed horned cups! I opted for some with flat bottoms, as opposed to the ‘traditional horned cups’ because I knew that the boys would have to put them down eventually. So the flat bottoms were a more practical option for the party. Plus, look at all of these cute designs!

We also have a few plastic wine glasses for the grandparents and maid of honors, and then the rest of the guests get normal cups, all of which will have people’s names on them so that we don’t have to guess who’s is who’s!

Besides the stuff we ordered… My grandmother’s house is getting invaded by little birds! These are a cute little wedding favor that a family friend of ours decided to make for me and it is the sweetest thing ever! After making all 50 of the birds, my grandmother put them on top of a coffee filter, some moss, and she is in the process of adding the twigs for the ‘nest’ in the picture below. These will be placed around the wedding venue for people to take home as a memento of the important day. It doesn’t look like much, but for anyone who knows me and my crocheting habits, this was perfect! 😍

And finally, as far as last-minute details go, I had found this little gem at a store down the street, and it just so happened to be in our wedding colors! It’s a bug net that goes over food and stuff to keep the bugs out. I thought they were so cute, and even if we don’t use them for food, I said that we could put napkins and plates under them to keep them from blowing away in a gust of wind!

As for the dress, my belt and flower crown are secured and ready to go as well, and the jewelry is picked out! I had sadly ‘misplaced’ my flower crown on the move over to the new house, so my fiancé had to drive me back to the mall to grab another one (Clare’s has the cutest flower crowns!). I had gotten a simple pair of boots from a thrift shop in town as well, I just need to break them in the next few days while I practice my dance moves! 😉

Everything is packed away in totes ready to go for the reception area. We have lists made for tasks we need to do for setting up the reception area, and the timeline has been gone over so many times that we all should know it by heart! We have all of the finishing touches on for the big day, and I couldn’t be more excited!
👰🤵😍🥳🎉🎊💃🕺🍻

That’s it for todays wedding planning update! As always my lovely readers, smile, have an amazing day, and always be yourself! 😉
